“DOS HORAS...” BOOK SERIES

A series of monographs dedicated to the promotion of knowledge of the most important works of the heritage of fortified monuments of Catalonia.

Each volume in the Dos horas… (“Two Hours…”) series contains an introduction, a virtual visit guide offering the monument’s description and history. The second part consists of some brief but detailed historic notes that explains the evolutionary process throughout the ups and downs of the military history in Catalonia. Each volume explains the vocabulary of fortification words. The style is understandable and clear, following the aim of being educational with the highest technical and historical rigour.

Overall, Dos horas… aims to be the modern and contemporary fortification manual that is so needed in our country for our monumental heritage. Currently available tiles are:
